Dr. Blumenthal commenced his medical career by obtaining a Bachelor of Sciences with honours from the University of the Witwatersrand. Following his graduation from Wits Medical School in 2011, he undertook his internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

 

Following internship, Dr Blumenthal gained extensive experience in various state hospitals and departments, including the ICU. Dr. Blumenthal subsequently pursued a Diploma in Anaesthesia (2015) through the College of Medicine of South Africa and joined the Wits Anaesthesia Specialist Training Program in 2016.

 

In 2021, he successfully attained his specialist qualification (FCA) through the College of Medicine of South Africa and a Master in Medicine from Wits University, all while maintaining a strong commitment to patient care and continuously updating his skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
